Where is a beautiful and affordable European family destination in August with roughly 25-30 degree heat?
Southern Europe can get sunbearably hot right. We want to be somewhere warmer than the UK though!
Austria, we went in the summer and it is absolutely beautiful. We visited 3 countries in 10 days but kept the same base.
Slovenia is also another option.
We are planning to go to Black Forest in Germany next Sumer, you can explore the area and again hop into 3 different countries.
Flights and air bnb will cost us £1700 including luggage for 11 nights.
Don't miss: Switzerland and Austria … Absolutely beautiful PHOTOS

Someone wrote about all the ski areas in France and Italy being perfect to visit, with lakes instead of sea.
The Alps if you fancy a mountain holiday. I live on La Plagne. It’s good. But Morzine is where you want for summer fun with kids. We spent a week there this summer and it is amazing. Great weather, fresher than lower altitudes like south France etc.
And so many activities to do as a family. Totally recommend it and we are planning on going back again next summer.
Explore these too: I'm thinking of renting a car in France. Do I need an International driver's license?

We did Portugal was 28-32 degrees in late July was lovely with a nice breeze also if you go later august weather gets milder however they did have a few heatwaves in June and august. Maybe canaries as well..
We went to Lake Garda August just gone. It was late 20's. Stunning scenery with lots for children to do. We had cheap flights to Milan Bergamo and an Airbnb. Lots of Eurocamps in the area too.
We went to Malta and it was hot, but not the same as elsewhere in Europe. Some wind in the evenings helped us to cool down.
