Can anybody clarify if we can claim for compensation?

Flight should have left GC at 21:50 but left at 00:55 so three hours late. Captain said we were going to 'fly faster' home.

Should have landed at 2:25 but landed at 5:00. So made up about 30 mins on way home.

Fellow passengers on plane told us to claim but hubby said it didn't technically land three hours late, even though we set off three hours late?

It is the time the doors open at your destination that matters - not the time you land (as you could land within the 3 hours but then wait for the ground crew first half an hour).

The time you takeoff is irrelevant.

No. Unfortunately it’s the time you land that matters.

No, it's based on landing time, take off time does not come into consideration so you won't get anything x
