.. Looking for recommendations for things to do and places to eat with 15, 13 and 11 year old girls. Never been to London so all advice welcome.

Thanks.

Planet Hollywood is a good place to eat with those ages, or go to China Town. There's also Inamo in Covent Garden which has interactive tables, you'd need to get the tube there from Kensington but you could visit The Harry Potter Photographic exhibition Covent Garden or go to a theatre show.

The Tower of London, London Bridge Experience, The Gunpowder Plot interactive experience, Sky Garden (free but you have to book tickets online in advance) would all be good to go to as well. Then obviously Hyde Park, you can walk there easily from Kensington. My children are 6, 10 and 12 and we really enjoyed the Horrible Histories Thames Cruise, it was more fun than the normal Thames cruises. Definitely have a walk around the sights such as Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, and Buckingham Palace.

Free things, sky Garden which you book but also can just chance it as they do walk ins too. Go at least 30 minutes before sunset to watch it go down and then view the city by night. Take a normal bus to view the big sights no.

15 is a good route. Borough Market, Spitalfields Market, eataly all great street food markets but also sell stuff too.

Changing of the guard at Whitehall but also Buckingham Palace. Oxford Street, Carnaby Street and Covent Garden for retail therapy.

We enjoyed the hop on hop off bus, The Tower, Covent Garden, London Eye, food we usually use Tesco Vouchers for Pizza Express.

Matilda is a fantastic show if you have a tastecard and staying midweek might get some good deals on meals.

Definitely book sky garden, they weren’t doing walk ins when we went as fully booked. We have done madam Tussauds previously which was fab and a few weeks ago we did the London Dungeon which was just brilliant, definitely one of the best attractions. It’s a little scary but my children aged 15, 12 & 11 all absolutely loved it.

Don’t pay full price though, buy a Kellogg’s pack and get the half price vouchers.. I have loads if you need a code x
