looking for some suggestions for plugging exterior holes in weatherboard!

Hi everyone, looking for some suggestions for plugging exterior holes in weatherboard! We want to remove the old ACs and replace with split systems, has anyone seen some simple ways of covering the old holes in the weatherboard (ours is weathertex)?

I feel like patching with small cuts of weatherboard will just look dodgy...

Hi, we removed a window and instead of covering just the hole, we replaced the entire weatherboards across that wall so it was completely even/neat.

You could seal the holes completely sealed with a board then put something decorative over it.

With the 2 units you could maybe do something that balances the look between them. A little hard to see from the angle.

The wooden frame around the board edges can be made to stand out, like picture frames.
