Are two smaller dehumidifiers better than 1 large one for a 4 bedroom house?

I'm currently assessing the best dehumidifying solution for my 4-bedroom house. The choices I'm considering revolve around either procuring one large dehumidifier or investing in two smaller units. While both options have their merits, I'm somewhat unsure about their efficiency and effectiveness in a space of this size.

For those who have experience with dehumidifiers or have knowledge about their operation: In the context of a 4-bedroom house, would it be more advantageous to use two smaller dehumidifiers placed in different parts of the home, or would a single, larger unit suffice? I'm interested in understanding factors like overall efficiency, energy consumption, and coverage to make the best decision.

I work in construction and they are a complete waste of time and money. Open the windows and ventilate the rooms, we exhale water!

You want a machine that converts your breath vapour into a plastic container which is completely pointless.

Air always contains water.

 :D

Two of them here, 12L, refrigeration type cheaper to run (warms up room), one for the laundry room and one for the previously damp cold room, a huge difference in air quality, improved further after buying the second.

I have 2 x 12L Meaco dehumidifiers & they make a huge difference to our home - only have on when all windows are closed. They also warm your home as well as extract excess moisture & prevent condensation along with drying washing on airers & coat hangers. With dehumidifiers off I air our home with windows open.

Hands down Meaco dehumidifiers make a huge amount of difference in our home & very low cost to run.

Don't miss: I'm trying to understand dehumidifiers, the different types, the various additional facilities that some have and which

I would probably go for two of the Meaco Arete 12L versions.
