Hi all, I have a Q: Does anyone use solar powered heaters?

I was going to experiment with a hydronic system in my greenhouse. I have a 175 gallon tank I was going to dump a 12 volt 1000watt element in it direct no battery storage. It could never over heat the water but would store heat all day everyday in winter to give off at night to reduce the heater heat needed. Now this is a highly insulated greenhouse also.

You have to have a good battery bank to run heaters all night. Batteries are your limiting factor with solar.
