in Laos.. Should I do north or south?

Hi all, So I plan to do a month visiting Laos, I think the whole country in 4 weeks is too rushed, so as a first intro to the country, should I do north or south?

Does it really matter. A lot relies on where you are, pre-Laos.

Are you flying in or land crossing. Thai has several border crossings in the sth eastern border and a few in the golden triangle.

So its all about where you came from and where you want to go next.

Start in the south on the 4000 islands and slowly work your way north. It’s an amazing country
