I did an allergy test he’s nearly allergic to everything he could only eat beef and pork. I don’t give him pork. He eats home food white rice and beef ocasional eggs with veggies aloud for him. This morning he threw up speck of red blood in bile. I’m observing him he did eat afew hours later seems fine his vet was close today will take him tomorrow is this something to worry about?
My nerves are really bad I love him so much. Any similar symptoms with any of your pups and diagnosis.I will appreciate it.
Thank
My Shitzu always had stomach issues like sensitive stomach
Is he acting lethargic? Is he drinking water? Is he having any diaherra? What veggies are you giving him?
If he is throwing up bile with a speck of blood his gastrointestinal tract could be irritated. I would definitely call your vet and let them know what is going on.

Feed beef baby food and if allowed mix in some baby food pumpkin and leave it at that till vet appointment.

There is no reliable food allergy testing I’m aware- you would have to do an elimination diet - and start from there - it's impossible to give him a balanced diet home cooked diet- I know this sadly first hand - but not the issue now- if a few specks in a one off bile happens to mine - If she heaves - bu Zheng would from id be worried about pancreatitis with those things- when he’s better, check out the hydrolyzed diet- sorry but yes - Mine has had some chronic vom issues - not diet related - but if he’s not drinking - issue - mine had me check mine’s gums, take temp (I can’t do rectal- so I mean ears, paws, groin- but rectal thermometers.
I offered mine ice cubes - I would opt for low salt / fat Iprobably just stick to rice honestly - and stick to mashed steam carrot or squash mixed in there blended - for the night - just want to make sure he drinking and peeing and not dehydrated.
A one or two off with no other symptoms I’ve been fine with - ‘seems fine,’ is basically what I use - unless it’s excessive/vitals are off/ other symptoms/ blood comes out of another hole- ask about if your vet would want you to have something at home if it happens again - I like sucralfate for mine…

Maybe try giving him pedialyte to make sure he stays hydrated. Even if you have to spoon feed him or try a straw or a syringe with no needle. Just start with a little at a time and if he can keep some down then after awhile start giving him more. Maybe make pedialyte popsicles?
He could eat that.
I do hope he starts feeling better.

The diet you are feeding is unbalanced and lacking in a lot of vital nutrients.
There are many dog foods that could meet his needs however, if you want to cook for him, please contact a veterinary nutritionist for a balanced diet.

Bile is usually a sign that the stomach is empty, if you feed him once a day try splitting it into 2 meals, with one about 7/8 o'clock at night and keep a close eye on him.
