This is probably going to sound so stupid But I gave my dog ONE grape just one. And then after she ate it I remembered something I read online about them being toxic to dogs and I looked it up. It said even one can be dangerous. I didn’t realise and now I feel so bad Do you think she’ll be alright?

I had no idea that grapes was toxic to dogs, I am going back 30 years ago. My cocker spanial loved them and I would give them to her all the time. She never had a problem and lived to be 16 years old.But saying that I would watch out for your dog becoming sick.

I guess some dogs can tolerate them and some can not.

Just keep an eye on your dog.

For future reference, there is no toxicity level for grapes or raisins so one dog can eat 40 and be fine and one can eat 1-2 and die.

So it’s best to watch for symptoms and if they eat quite a few go to the veterinarian ASAP.

They are very toxic.

I've never heard of 1 grape hurting a dog and I think most dog owners have given their dogs grapes on accident or a dog snuck one from the floor.

I wouldn't worry.

Yeah, I'd agree with the others that she'll be okay.

I think the "Even one!" Situation is in very very rare cases, if at all. Probably in pups that are health compromised in some serious way (liver/kidney level stuff).
