.. vet said to keep away from our female (sister) rabbit for another 2 weeks to stop any surprise baby rabbits. However when doing a lot of research previously I thought it was more like 6 weeks! Just wondering if anyone can share how long you kept them apart for.

I’d rather the shorter time to get them back together again, but not at the risk of little bunnies x

It's 8 weeks. They shouldn't be introduced again until she's spayed as well.

I’d get her spayed ASAP, then reintroduce them after she is healed. Otherwise they will keep having to be reintroduced and separated.

But, in this case, wait at least 8 weeks.

Fertile for up to 6 weeks, but for bonding, recommended at least 8 weeks or longer.

They both need to be fixed. The female is at high risk of cancer and her hormones will cause problems when you re introduce them.
