Is working so well and strongly recommend.
The recess is 1.2mt and the toilet does remain dry.

Do the plants get singed by the hot water? I love this idea and am seriously considering it in my new bathroom.

Beautiful! We have an outdoor shower tucked under our deck and have hanging pots and waist high plants for privacy.

I love this inside.

I wouldn’t have thought if this!

Love this idea! We don’t have plants as a screen but have a few plants in our bathroom, they thrive in there!!

It’s the best place for indoor plants.

Great idea.

My cats would kill the plants and shit in the dirt after they dug it out.

Love it though.

Omg your plants look amazing!

If that was me the plants would be brown twigs and water would be literally everywhere.

I love the idea, but I just know my plants would not survive in something like that. I’m a shower cubicle girl, I splash around inside that cubicle like a duck.  Water goes everywhere.

Shower gel goes everywhere. I’d have hot water and shower gel all over those things in no time, the water pressure would probably push the soil out all through the shower recess…

It looks wonderful, & glad it works for you, but for me it would be a disaster.

Explore these too: Is the skirting tile absolutely necessary outside the shower area?
