.. They changed the schedule so we now have less time between flights (2 hours and 10 minutes).

For those of you who are familiar with the Houston Airport (IAH), is this enough time to collect luggage, clear immigration etc?

We are United Platinum and have Global Entry, TSA Pre, and CLEAR.

TIA!

Yes, especially with GE. It would also help if your seats are in biz class. United status is not helpful. Pre and Clear only helps you on departing flights from US.

You should be good as long as your first flight doesn't get delayed!

Also, double check that your ticket has global entry and pre check on it!

I know sometimes with United, it doesn't make it onto the reservation, and so you have to add it again.

I think you’d be fine. IAH isn’t difficult to navigate.

Yes with global entry you should be fine assuming there aren’t a bunch of planes ahead of you.

They have a separate security lane specifically for people coming from international flights that puts you right back into the United terminal.

No need to transfer terminals like at O’Hare or other places.

Make sure your TSA Precheck is on your ticket! It doesn't always make it onto it!

If you have any delays leaving Sydney it will be impossible- the airport is under construction- we connected there on an outbound to Auckland and it took us a long time just to walk to the international terminal.

You should be fine.

We cleared immigration with GE, picked up our luggage, cleared customs, rechecked luggage, went through security with TSA precheck in about 45 minutes last month.

Also, check out: Anyone knows how to go about my luggage being left by my airline?

Houston is my home airport and it's never been an issue for me to get through customs with global entry so that should be plenty of time!!

Good luck.
