Any recommendations for a social hostel in El Nido, Palawan/Philippines?

Also anyone there this week and fancies meeting up? Two friends interested in sight seeing, exploring and snorkelling/diving.

Arrived in Puerto Princessa this morning and wondering if it’s always this quiet here.

How hard is it to find a place to stay when you get there. I’m looking for 5 months out and it looks like there isn’t many options in Palawan. Would love to hear from somewhere there who hasn’t booked them in advance! Thanks!

El Nido - Frendz and Outpost are good but Outpost is far away from the town. The best place near El Nido is Nacpan Beach but it is 40-60 minutes away.

Stay at Mad Monkey if you’re looking for somewhere “not quiet.”

The Happiness in El Nido is very nice, very clean and always nice people!

Big paul in el nido, was very social and had mostly 18-25 year olds, was full of british when I was there.

I recommend you check out Alimanguan village. Off the beaten path, but serene. It’s on the way to El Nido.
