How much do people spend on food shopping per week for 2 people?
l spend around £80 l cant get it any lower(no alcohol or much meat) and that's shopping around.
Just food £8.75 as a single person its more than that if you add toilet roll and cleaning products works out around £11.75 a week, I shop the value range first where possible.
2 adults and 2 children, at least £100
Often more.
Our biggest expense. Find it so difficult to save money and be nutritious! I want the kids eating enough fruit and that’s so expensive!

Myself and large teen, around £60-£80 a week. That includes cleaning stuff, loo roll, cat food etc (not alcohol). We do eat really nice food tho, that's cooked from scratch and we have very minimal processed stuff x
£50 Per week for the 2 of us plus 2 cats. I do a supermarket shop about once a month and then buy fresh veg/fruit every few days.
I don't buy alcohol and we cook everything from scratch.
We eat very well.
Explore these too: After 3 years of shopping at Lidl I’m no longer going to shop there. Who’s the best for choice and value?

I need some lessons in how to shop better. 4 adults (3 are men), roughly 200 per week.
In addition, I bulk buy my cat food (6cats) which is around 175 per month. Even Aldi I rarely get below 200.

A family of 2 adults 18, 12 and 9 yr old.. £130/140 a week, £180 if I need freezer items.. can't get it any lower, even if I use a list and stick to it, it's still the same price!
Sounds about right I'm the same just us 2 both work, no steak, joints, or salmon, not even a full chicken. It's a nightmare! Its time sumat was dun about it...the nhs is already in bits imagine 20+ yrs from now nhs be payn coz of this ..cheap foid is crap n no gud 4u.
Can't afford fresh fruit...a generation will be obese due to these prices.

We are 2 adults. I go shopping once per week (which helps massively rather than doing too ups during week) I go to Aldi.
I buy meat and cook from scratch and have a treat night usually every week. I’m usually about £70 a week. Go to B&m about once a month too.

2 in my house and average £45 a week including toiletries and cleaning.
I do a monthly food shop then just small top ups for the other weeks.
I seperate things like mince into portions and freeze. Most meals i make to last 2 days. I batch cook on a sunday lunches for the week. I make pasta sauces etc from scratch, not from jars.

Also £80-£100/week for 2 adults (including shopping reduced items and discount items across a range of supermarkets but I don’t buy budget ranges - prefer to get brands and high end ranges with yellow stickers.
We do also buy quite a lot of meat and fish but no alcohol).
I love to and cook everything myself from scratch, sometimes elaborate things. We also have a cat so about £30/month for her food and £40 for her litter (I also buy the more expensive stuff for her so could be cheaper but I don’t mind).
