What's the best credit card for rewards etc?
I got Barclaycard and I clear it every month. It has a cashback offer on it but it's very small percentage of the spending so I was wondering if I should switch to something better.
I’ve no idea if it’s currently available but we use a Virgin Atlantic credit card - we use the points for flights, spend over a certain amount in a year and you get a companion voucher which is essentially a free seat when you buy one I think, or you can use the points to pay for a holiday with virgin holidays.
It’s not an every day type reward but it’s the chance for essentially a free holiday every few years.
If you buy online (Xmas presents etc) you can get more points through their shops away page too so they build up nicely.

I use John Lewis cc for paying utility bills and council tax, plus additional shopping unless it's at Tesco or Sainsburys as I use those at each store, if that makes sense.
John Lewis vouchers get sent out 3 times a year, so nice to treat myself. JL is also linked to Waitrose. I've no idea if this is the best loyalty scheme, but I like it and don't pay anything by debit card so Chase thing wouldn't be more me.
Forgot to say, I clear all 3 cc's each month by direct debit so no chance of late payments.
Obviously, my Tesco and Sainsbury balances are far lesser spends than JL card, but still earn Tesco and nectar points.
Don't miss: I recently paid off my credit card that I don’t use regularly.. But!

Chase Card, offers a 1% cashback on spends, 5% on round ups and 4.1% on savings.
I use this far more than I use my BC with 0.5% cash back.
As long as you are spending less that 1,500 a month, you might as well get the £15 back of Chase.
