I live in a 3 bed end of terrace house which gets battered by the weather. My house always feels cold and is hard to heat. It's made of poured non fines concrete . Will this dehumidifier help or am I wasting my money. On my own dry to loads if washing on an airer . No signs of damp humidity sits around 65 to 70% .

*Update in 12 hours it has removed 2 litres of moisture*

If you dont have a damp problem and you have always been able to dry clothes indoors without creating damp then I cant see how a dehumidifier is going to be that useful.

I think you need the 20 Litre or 25 Litre Meaco if your house gets real cold.

The one you got may take the edge off the coldness but I really do not know if it will work as good as a higher litre one.

I have the same one, in a 3 bed house, it does a grand job, I use over night and can really tell a difference. I'm impressed with it.

I have the 12 litre Meaco for drying clothes. I use it in a small room with windows and doors closed. With my airer, I can put my Meaco under it and find it dries the clothes much quicker if I drape an old sheet over airer to contain airflow.

Also peg the clothes to airer instead of folding over the rail.

I’m very happy with it and an unbelievable 700-1000 ml of water in water tank after drying. It runs for six hours on laundry mode using one kWh of electricity and no condensation on windows.

We live in a maisonette n bought one of these last year with the laundry setting on and we wouldn't be without it, it dries our clothes on the airer in under 24 hours and I'm always emptying it, so it works well for us.
