Hi all, need some advice please. My daughter has fine hair and I need to do a French braid crown for her hair as she is a flower girl. What product can I put in her hair before to keep it perfect and not fluffy in any way and stays as it is the whole day? Her hair ends up fluffy whilst combing it and when it dries. Any recommendations welcome and links a bonus too.

Thanks so much!

Once you’ve plaited it put on some texture dust and pull each sectionout a little then spray with hairspray. It makes the plait look thicker and the dust holds really well.

Amazon do a wax stick that helps with water while your doing the hairstyle then add got2be glued hairspray and that will definitely hold all day and you can also get that on Amazon xx

Braid milk is quite good. I found with my daughters hair a few years back when she was younger that the plait held much better by plaiting some synthetic hair through it. Not telling you to whack extensions in her hair lol, you can get a small amount of hair for braiding on amazon just to keep it where it is for the day and add some thickness.

For the top part of the hair we always swear by Dax to keep it in place, rub it through your hands to melt it a bit first and then put in the hair.

It’s very reliable haha.

Wash her hair the day before, spray with some hairspray after combing hair out, comb again and hairspray after braiding.

Have ypu considered a braided headband instead of braiding her own hair. Then take an inch section from parting to the ears and secure with a bobble at the base of the neck underneath the head band....I'll attach a picture to show what I mean
