I’m planning a trip to Italy for my sister, my mom and I for next fall. They have never been to Europe so I’m excited to show them around. I’m considering adding an additional 3-5 days of solo travel after 10 days in Italy but I’m not really sure where I should go. I am very comfortable with traveling in general though I haven’t traveled solo in 10+ years.
Things I like: adventurous food, art, history, museums in general, textiles and arts/crafts, photography, walking/hiking (not an avid hiker but I really enjoy light hikes and scenic views)
If anyone has any suggestions for cities I could spend a few days in next fall I’m happy to hear them! Thanks in advance
I’m planning a trip to Italy.. any suggestions?
We’re looking at Switzerland next Spring; the Southern Italian part sounds lovely, a main city is Lugano. I've wanted to explore the Lake Region of Northern Italy, too. Enjoy!
Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland and Morcote, swiss & Italian border are the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. Budapest is also amazing!!
Malta is a quick stop from Italy and small enough to see the whole country in a few days. I go to Italy twice a year for work and try to make time for Malta. Lots of history, architecture, good food, English speaking (former British colony), stone structures older than the pyramids and stonehenge etc.
