I'm planning on going to the New London/Norwich Connecticut area

Hi everyone..

I'm planning on going to the New London/Norwich Connecticut area next May to do some family history (Starrs first settled there in the 1600s) and I was wondering if anyone knew of some of great AirB&B or VRBO or something similar in the vicinity---or some nice Inn/Bed & Breakfast establishment.

I'm not having a whole lot of luck with the regular search engines (AirB&B, VRBO, Booking etc.) but maybe there's a better place to look than New London, or Norwich but close by, or a better website to find something.

Thanks for any help. I thought it doesn't hurt to look now!

Captain Grant’s in Preston is great. There are rumors it’s haunted though. Roseledge Country Inn in Preston is also good. Heavitree of Griswold in Griswold is also supposed to be great. There is also a new hotel opening in the old Elks Club in Norwich before the end of the year. It’s going to be called Hotel Chelsea.

I live in Preston, right next to Norwich. So feel free to reach out at any time to run properties, restaurants, activities by me!! There is a Starr Street in Norwich, wonder if that has to do with your family.

Definitely shoreline spots that should be available in May from Old Saybrook to Stonington.
