Paint colours for internal walls - how dark is too dark?

Trying to pick a colour is stressing me out. I only have small rooms and I’m worried the greys will look ‘dirty’ if I end up going too light.

You need to go with a crisp pure grey - not one with green undertones. If your rooms are bright you can go a little darker - Silver Tea Set . If a bit gloomy June Fog is great. We have large bright rooms with June Fog and I’m very pleased.

I am about to paint ours Lexicon quarter. Hope it’s light and bright and doesn’t throw any yellow

It's so hard to pick colours, we did the same recently so I feel your pain!! and we only went all white

Lexicon throws blue, Dulux tranquil retreat is a nice grey and Terrace white too.
