Planning to visit Colombia or Ecuador in February

Hey guys, planning to visit Colombia or Ecuador in February. Which one do you prefer?

And is it worth visiting two countries if I have 4-5 weeks? Thanks!

Colombia is the way nicer country than Ecuador in my opinion and most of the people I met, but stick to one county if you only have 5 weeks. Also Colombia is cheaper.

I’d would say it’s a perfect amount of time for Ecuador!

Ecuador would be my pick and I would definitely spend the entire 4-5 weeks there. My wife and I spent a month there in 2018 and we easily could have stayed longer. We started with a week in The Galapagos, then 2 weeks in the mountains ending with a week seeing the Amazon from Coca. I've visited the Amazon 4 times now, from Iquitos and Puerto Maldanado, Peru, Coca, Ecuador and Leticia, Colombia and Ecuador was by far the best.
