Hello everybody! I traveled to Paris a few years ago. But since I haven't been there for a long time now, I'd like to know how much has changed.

I spent a couple of weeks in Paris during Christmas and New Years in 2019, and recently spent the first two weeks of October in Paris. Everything was open, a lot of restorations going on, the Metro was great no masks, the trams were great, I feel Paris is open for business again. Enjoy yourself. I really did.

Definitely purchase timed tickets. Well worth it! Everything is open no masks. My kiddos live there.

In Sept and October, I spent 3 weeks in Paris and explored the outer lying regions - I've been several times pre covid. To me, it's a lot cleaner and quieter - attractions are still busy but not insanely so. Things are still expensive but if you are using USD the conversion to Euro is good. I found the constant strikes in every sector, esp transport, stressful - otherwise, it's still beautiful.
