Hello! After the redesign of the site, the bounce rate in Google Analytics increased from 36% to 67%. According to the technical audit - everything is normal.

Hosting and URL did not change.

Tell me, please, what other reasons could there be for an increase in the bounce rate after the redesign?

Thank you!

the copy and the design. what you say, how you say it and where (on the page) you say it. do some research on conversion rate optimization. as long as you have the traffic, do some A/B testing and see how you can improve your bounce rate. although you should look more at conversions than bounce rate...

People like it less or find it less useful.

It could also be the exact opposite. Maybe with the new design people are finding what they are looking for easier. Perhaps the old design was so terrible that people were forced to click around and search for what it was they wanted to find.

Bounce rate is not a metric I would really focus on. It's pretty useless. I'd be more concerned with conversions.
